Thank you for your help. You took care of my aunt who was very much in a bad way this evening. You treated her with extreme respect and dignity that I could not thank you enough for. It was a fragile situation and all responders were extremely professional and well prepared. Can't say enough to praise your company's work.

It has been almost 42 years since I was a member of NBVFC. The Department has come a long way. I now live in Pittsburgh, PA and rarely get back to the Island. The trucks on the web site are beautiful.

I just wanted to post a quick "Thank-You" for assisting my family in its time of need.
On Friday, June 10, 2011, your members responded on a Signal 16 to my brother Edward's home. My cousin, Jennifer, called 911. Members of your
rescue company responded. There, your crew found Edward in severe pain and acting very aggressively. Despite my brothers aggressiveness against the crew, Jennifer told me your crew remained professional, provided aid, and transported Edward to Good Samaritan Hospital.
Edward was admitted to the ICU for Diabetic Ketoacidosis, a potentially life-threatening condition, resulting from excessively high blood sugar. Symptoms include altered mental status, excessive thirst, and if left untreated, leads to coma and death. Your members were instrumental in getting Edward the care he needed, essentially saving his life.
As a member of the fire service, and as a veteran Paramedic, I fully understand the life-threatening illness my brother handles daily. This incident is the FIRST incident in over 38 years, since my brother was first diagnosed at the young age of 5. I appreciate the professionalism, caring, and respect your members have shown to my family. From all of us, I wish to say Thank You, job well done.

Where to begin? On March 27, after Sunday dinner, my 3 1/2 year old daughter, Alessia had a seizure. I quickly dialed 911, my husband Paul was trying to get Alessia to wake-up. My older daughter, Nicoletta, was very upset. Within a matter of minutes, my home was flooded with men and women, coming to Alessia's aide. When Nicoletta saw the many familiar faces (as parents of her friends from Parliament Place), she felt a little more at ease. Once they got Alessia stabilized, they quickly transported her to GSH. She is doing fine now thanks to the NBFCO members. My family and I can't even begin to express our extreme gratitude! I can't recall your faces, but I can remember the way they treated my baby girl. They treated her as if she were their own child. They also took time to reassure Nicoletta that everything was going to be alright. We will be forever grateful.
Thank you to everyone from the NBFCO!! You are the best!

Thank you for your wonderful Santa truck coming through the poet section, we all love and appreciate you all..
You came so fast on Christmas eve to our microwave oven fire (it was the microwave motor). It is reassuring you are always there when we need you. I never knew so much smoke could happen so fast we were really shocked how fast it all happened. We thank you all for your quick response time and concern. You were all so caring and professional. You came from your Christmas eve diner to help us, we really appreciate all you do.

Hi my name is Ivan Gomez,I was one of the passengers in the Honda Civic the night of December 9th, 2010 along with my girlfriend Melissa DeConza. We personally want to thank all of the North Babylon Fire Company and EMT's that showed up and were there that night to tend to us. I mostly want to thank John Canale for being very comforting with his words and actions in keeping both of us calm and making us feel very secure having him treat our injuries in the ambulance. Once again thank you to all of the wonderful staff and volunteers with the North Babylon Fire Company for responding to the scene.
Sincerely Ivan Gomez and Melissa DeConza
